Get Involved with Ketchup to Cancer
After his then 34-year-old wife, Amanda, was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer, Alex Baker was complete devastated. After a 16-month battle, Amanda died leaving Alex (34) and their son (4) behind. Over the last seven years, Alex went on a health journey - joining a gym, walking 500 miles in 102 days, and ultimately found running. After running his first marathon, Alex decided it was time to join the fight against cancer and started running as a charity runner.
Since 2023, Alex has raised nearly $50,000 to fight back against cancer. In June 2025, he started Ketchup to Cancer. Due to the overwhelming support, in December 2025, he founded Ketchup to Cancer Inc, a dedicated non-profit focused on our mission “to catch up to cancer.”
